Rupert Wyatt's "Gambit" solo film is hitting theaters next year and it has been reported that 20th Century Fox is going to spend a lot for the upcoming superhero film.

According to Louisiana Economic Development, Wyatt's "Gambit" has an estimated total budget of $154,975,309. From the said figure, the studio will be spending an estimated $111,834,168 to Louisiana borders, and $28,098,668 of that will be spent to the local employees' payroll.

Fox's production budget for "Gambit" is near Universal Studios' $150 million financial allocation for Colin Trevorrow's "Jurassic World. However, it is still distant from Marvel Studios' budget for Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," which was $279.9 million.

It is assumed that Fox should make Wyatt's "Gambit" worthy as one of the future films in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, as per Cinema Blend. With Marvel entering its Phase Three, the studio will be changing its bullet films and some of its actors' contracts are about to end.

Channing Tatum will be playing the role of the Cajun mutant in Wyatt's film while Ryan Reynolds is playing the role of The Merc with the Mouth in Tim Miller's upcoming "Deadpool." Both actors have established their considerable fans bases through their various films.

With this knowledge, Tatum and Reynolds are assumed to be able to set-up Marvel's Phase Three in its Cinematic Universe.

"Gambit" features the origin story of the Cajun Mutant; however, additional cast members and exact plot details have yet to be revealed. The film has commenced its pre-production, with the principal photography scheduled on Oct. 13 to Feb. 12, 2016.

Wyatt's "Gambit" solo film is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Oct. 7, 2016.
