Gangnam Style by Psy

"Gangnam Style" singer Psy will be making a comeback probably in September after YG Entertainment labelmate Big Bang wraps up its "MADE Series" promotions. The singer notes that he will not worry about reaching the success of "Gangnam Style".

The global Kpop sensation is currently on the final stages of his preparation and is planning the logistics of the comeback with YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk, AllKpop reported.

In his upcoming track, the singer plans to focus on his cool and unique style rather than worry about reaching the level of "Gangnam Style", which made him a global star. Psy traveled all over the world to perform the funny and colorful hit, which broke the YouTube counter.

Following the massive success of the release, the singer and his CEO had worried about the high expectations for them. In his next comebacks with "Gentlemen" and "Hangover", they have been doing their best to fit the Korean and the American taste but the struggle bore less stellar hits.

For this comeback, Psy will get over his writer's block by going back to his roots and showcasing what he truly is. While the life of a global star is highly pleasurable, Psy was also very happy during the time he was performing at University concerts in Korea.

"Hangover" and "Daddy"

Psy received some disappointment with his last video "Hangover" featuring American Rapper Snoop Dog and 2NE1 leader CL. The English-Korean Hip-hop track was an awkward mix of the Hollywood and hallyu styles.

"Hangover" was suppose to introduce his album "Daddy" which was not released to the public following Psy's decisions to drop the album, take a rest, and start from scratch, Daily Kpop News wrote.
