No Man's Sky

The highly anticipated "No Man's Sky" gaming title might likely make its way to the virtual reality headsets like Sony's Project Morpheus and the Oculus Rift.

"No Man's Sky" developer Hello Games' founder Sean Murray has confessed that the developers are exploring the game's playability on Morpheus and Oculus.

"I don't know what I'm allowed to say. It's something we're thinking about. Morpheus, Oculus... There's nothing more cool and sci-fi than VR and a big procedural universe," Murray said in an interview with Edge Magazine, as reported by Games Radar.

The news of possible VR playability falls in line with previous reports suggesting Project Morphus support.

Rumor has it that the PlayStation version of the game will pack support for Project Morphus, as "No Man's Sky" is said to be a PS4 exclusive. However, Murray dismissed the rumors claiming that the game will be released for PC and PS4 at the same time. This lends weight to speculations of PC version to come with support for Oculus.

The game was initially announced in the year 2013, and was highlighted in the last year's as well as this year's E3. Hello games were reportedly planning to announce the "No Man's Sky" release date at the E3 2015.

"We were actually going to announce a release date at E3, but for reasons we can't. We're going to announce a release date soon, and when we do, it will be for PC and PS4 at the same time," Murray told PlayStation Lifestyle.

Meanwhile, the game is expected to be launched next year.
