YG Entertainment is set to rule hallyu in September with comebacks from Big Bang and Psy and a debut from iKon.

YG Entertainment, one of South Korea's three biggest music labels, is set to rule hallyu in September with comebacks from Big Bang and Psy and a debut from iKon.

Big Bang

Big Bang returned in May with "MADE Series", following a three-year hiatus to focus on individual and unit activities. The group's third studio album is composed of four singles, "M", "A", "D", and "E". A single comes out for each month starting with "M" in May. The last single "E" will be released in August thus Big Bang's promotion will end in September.

So far, "M", "A", and "D" have been released and proved to be a critical and commercial success in terms of chart rankings, music show wins, and album sales not only in South Korea, but in China and other countries as well. In the middle of July, 2 million digital albums were sold in China. Last May, two Big Bang songs occupied Billboard's chart in the United States.

iKon

iKon, a seven-member male group from YG Entertainment will debut on Sept. 15. The group, who were publicly formed in the survival show "Mix & Match", are garnering anticipation for their smooth vocals and rapping skills, dancing prowess, and interesting visuals.

Psy

Psy, globally for his mega-hit "Gangnam Style", will end September for YG. The global Kpop sensation is currently on the final stages of his preparation and is planning the logistics of the comeback with YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk, AllKpop reported.

While much is expected from the popular singer who has broken the YouTube counter, Psy said that he will not worry about reaching the success of "Gangnam Style". In his upcoming track, the singer plans to focus on his cool and unique style.
