WWE 2015: New Wrestler is Just 8 Years Old with Neuroblastoma

WWE's newest superstar made his ring debut last Monday on Raw. His best wrestling feature? He's only 8 years old.

Elijah Mainville was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma when he was only three. After five years of treatment, he was the childhood cancer that affects the nervous system was confirmed to be in remission. However, in July, the disease returned, USA Today reported.

The young wrestling fan has always dreamed of becoming a WWE superstar. So much so that earlier this year, he tried to audition for WWE "Tough Enough". According to USA Today, in May his mom posted an audition video of Elijah on Youtube.

Impressed with his fighting spirit, WWE EVP of Talent, Live Events and Creative, Triple H, and WWE Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon invited him to appear on Monday Night Raw last August 3.

Elijah was given a Money in the Bank briefcase with a WWE contract inside. On Monday, after Raw went off air, Mainville went in the ring with his favorite wrestler, Stardust. With Triple H and McMahon present, and thousands of fans cheering him on at the SAP Center in San Jose, Elijah signed an official contract with the WWE.

According to Fox Sports, his WWE character ring name would be "Drax Shadow" and "he also shared his awesome catchphrase."

His impressive wrestling catchphrase: "Dont fear the darkness, fear the shadow"

It is still unknown if and when Drax Shadow will make his appearance in the ring again. But we're sure the WWE will have something in store him.
