"The Witcher 3" Patch 1.08 will not be able to retroactively fix the broken achievements issue.

CD Projeckt RED confirmed in a tweet that as of now, the latest patch will not be able to award the achievements to the players that they have earned, but have not received so far. Marcin Momot said that the users can expect the fix in the later patches as the developers are looking for a solution for this issue.

Meanwhlle, "The Witcher 3" 1.08 is nearing its release date, promising a lot of improvements such as new moves, new potions, decapitation and better graphics.

The performance issues of the 1.07 patch and the back ground text issues in the UI will be fixed in the new patch. The issues related to the Kaer Morhen map will be addressed in the new patch as well.

Issues like the disappearance of items from the stash, inability of the players to compare items when buying from merchants, Geralt getting stuck while running, lootable objects appearing as empty will all be fixed, according to Game Spot.

Numerous issues related to the combating dwarfs will also be fixed in the new patch. Decapitated enemies will also not be visible any more after the installation of the patch.

"The Witcher 3" Patch 1.08 will also introduce the Wolven Hour potion. It can then be used to reduce the level of requirements on all gears for about an hour. It will also give the gamers ample time to find some alternative gear to carry on in the game.

After the patch's installation, the players will be able to complete the card collector achievements. They will also be able to unlock players, without any hassles.

Many users complained that while the game play is in Novigrad mode, then there are a number of missing visual glitches and the interiors for the minimap levels are inconsistent as well. These issues are going to be addressed in "The Witcher 3" Patch 1.08 as well.

Players will now be able to finish the quests at the "It Takes Three to Tango," "Something Ends, Something Begins," "The Sunstone," "Get Junior," "Scavenger Hunt at Viper School Gear," "Family Matters," "Hey, You Want to Look at my Stuff?," "An Eye for an Eye," "The Great Escape," "Black Pearl," "To Bait a Forktail," "King's Gambit" and the "Brothers in Arms."
