The Android 5.1 Lollipop update will soon roll out for the AT&T users of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 LTE.
This new upgrade is bound to bring about many new features to the devices, according to AT&T. It will give the new Material Design user interface to the device, which will make the smartphone quicker and faster. It will also get a better "Settings Menu," which will offer new functionalities.
It will also carry a lot of system enhancements and bug fixes which will make the device's Android experience much better. The Android 5.1 Lollipop update will also improve the memory leak problem and the battery drainage issue. In addition, the upgrade will make the phone more reliable with a WiFi connection. It also has multiple SIM Card support, according to Developer Android.
Since it is an Over-The-Air upgrade, the operating system will be rolled out in batches and not simultaneously. This means that different users of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 10.1 LTE will get the upgrade in their device at different times. In case the users want to check for the update manually, they can do so with the following option:
Go to "Settings" of the phone, select the "About Device" option, tap on "Check for Updates" and let the device check for this update and download the firmware. In order to do so, the user must be connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection as the upgrade will take some time and data usage to be successfully installed in the device. The users must also make sure that their device is charged up to at least 50 percent.
