Final Fantasy XV new trailer Dawn shows a father and a son with a bond that forged between them.

Japanese video game developer Square Enix has released a new trailer for "Final Fantasy XV," entitled "Dawn" during the GamesCon 2015.

The emotional trailer shows what happened 15 years before the unfolding events for "FFXV". A father and a son were shown with a bond that is forged between them. It follows with handful of events that would shape the world of the game.

Young Luna looks terrified in the trailer while she tries to escape a band of soldiers, and then cut to a scene where there is security checkpoint in a city patrolled by armed guards and an adorable dog. Other scenes focus on young Noctis, and his father King Regis. In the trailer, Regis was shown standing near his car in the middle of a rainstorm, sleepy but trying to be awake for his restless son in his arms. He looks down at Noctis with a sad look on his face. From this scene, it shows the silhouettes of three giant figures that emerge in the city.

The game developer affirmed that these figures are not the not the Summons nor Eidelons, but they play major roles in the story nonetheless, IGN reported. The new "FFXV" trailer ended with a title card and a sound coming from mobile phone ringing, which resembles how "Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" has started.

However, it is not yet clear whether the airships will be included or not. Game director Hajime Tabata stated that the development team has discovered how they are going to include the airships in the game, but it is still not final because it will always depend on game's development cycle.

Fans can expect Cross Chain system to be in the game and it will change between the Episode Duscae demo and the final release. "FFXV" will also feature more options of attacks and Cross Chain system will be executed automatically in certain conditions, according to Gamespot.

"FFXV" does not have a final release date but it will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. More details about the game will be released in the upcoming Active Time Report livestream to be aired by the end of the month during Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) Prime. There will be more "FFXV" scenes to be shown at the Tokyo Game Show in September.
