'Final Fantasy 7' Remake Release in 2016? Will Not be Made on Square Enix's Luminous Engine

Final Fantasy VII is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation platform.

"Final Fantasy 7" remake is expected to release in 2016. There are also reports that it will not be made on Square Enix's Luminous Engine.

"Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata was asked at the Gamescom 2015 about the speculated engine for the "Final Fantasy 7" remake. He said, "Final Fantasy VII (Remake) is not planned to be made with that," according to Nova Crystallis

"Final Fantasy 7" remake was announced at the E3 2015 event. Square Enix, the developers of the game broke their silence after a lot of anticipation from fans about the newly revamped game. 

A recently released Play Station advertisement hinted about some latest information regarding the remake of "Final Fantasy 7." According to the ad, the remake of the much loved gaming series will be released sometime next year.

Game's director Tetsuya Nomura said recently that there will be many dramatic changes in the game's remake, which could not be foreseen or predicted. Nomura also added that even though the game will be sporting an exponentially new revamped look, the familiarity will not be lost with the fans.

Nomura also said that the game's development is under way since December last year, but since it went under a lot difficult phase, so it is taking a lot of time to finish the development and launch it in the market. Nomura and Square Enix are putting together their best efforts forward to complete the development of "Final Fantasy 7" Remake and release it for the public as soon as possible.

The game will be released for Play Station 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, according to Kotaku. The introductory price of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake is yet to be revealed.
