"Dance Moms" season 6 has just been renewed by Lifetime, but it is still unclear whether or not Maddie Ziegler and her younger sister Mackenzie will return to the reality TV show.
"Dance Moms" executive producer Bryan Stinson recently confirmed the renewal of the reality TV series on Lifetime via a post on his Twitter account. Stinson also confirmed that the upcoming season will introduce new cast members when he announced that there will be an audition for the show.
Meanwhile, it is still unclear whether the entire cast of "Dance Moms" will be back for season 6. This is because coach Abby Lee Miller previously revealed that she is having problems with getting her pay on time. The controversial coach added that she had a falling out with the producers of the show.
During a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, Miller said that she walked out during one taping day because of the disagreement she had with the producers.
Miller's alleged favorite student Ziegler is not also sure about her fate on the show. Other than the fact that the 12-year-old dancer is busy with her other professional engagements, it seems that Ziegler and Miller's closeness is making the other young dancers uncomfortable.
In an interview with MTV Australia, Ziegler revealed that she is not sure about her return to "Dance Moms" season 6 because at that time, there is still no word whether or not the show will be renewed.
"Dance Moms" is currently airing its fifth season on Lifetime every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET.
