WWE SummerSlam 2015 is steaming up with one of the most awaited matches scheduled to fire up the ring this month. Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker are reported to face off at SummerSlam? We've got the lowdown on these two superstars.
Brock Lesnar is Gay?
No, The Beast Incarnate is not gay, but the idea of him being gay was offered up when he was still starting as a WWE wrestler. According to The Wrestle Observer, as noted by Wrestle Zone, the whole concept was to have a big, muscle-bound guy debut on WWE TV and late out himself as gay.
"The character would not, however, exploit any gay stereotypes but would instead be an alpha-male ass-kicker who happens to also be gay," the site added.
The idea was pitched by WWE Magazine writers, including Brian Solomon who told Stephanie McMahon of the idea. While the concept made it to the "writer's room" but was later rejected. And as they say, the rest is history.
The Undertaker may appear on Raw & Survivor Series
PWInsider reports that the Deadman will make at least one appearance on Raw after WWE SummerSlam 2015.
"My guess is he will be on the Raw in Brooklyn, NY the day after the PPV," the site added.
With an expected big fight and even a bigger crowd at SummerSlam, post-pay-per-view shows usually benefit from the big ratings of the PPVs. So it wouldn't be surprising to see The Undertaker at one these shows.
"Plus, it makes sense for Undertaker to either speak about how he conquered Lesnar the night before or for him to address his SummerSlam loss," Bleacher Report noted.
WWE SummerSlam 2015 is set on August 23, 2015 at Barclays Center, New York.
