It seems like there are much more fighters getting geared up to make their way to the "Mortal Kombat X," possibly as Kombat Pack 2, by the end of this month.
While there is no official information from NetherRealm Studios about if the rumored Kombat Pack 2 is in the works, Creative Director Ed Boon has been constantly teasing fans with hints to another pack to be released soon.
Earlier on Aug 8, Saturday, Ed Boon tweeted an image of the original fighters from "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 1 - Predator, Tremor, Jason Voorhees and Tanya, using the #StraightOutta.
Though this suggests little to nothing about the upcoming pack, Boon's reference to the previous set of fighters as Kombat Pack 1, has lend weight to rumors that the DLC release will be continued, more likely with Rain landing later this month.
This falls in line with the previous teasers from Boon, suggesting Rain and Meat will join the fighters. However, there are other characters like Sindel, Spawn, Sareena, Smoke, Fujin, Noob, NightWolf and Baraka with their own moves, but they are not yet playable in the game.
Meanwhile, "Mortal Kombat X" release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is also expected to happen soon, which was delayed more than once.
NetherRealm has been maintaining complete silence on anything related to the previous generation console versions of the game. The said version seems to be still under development, as Sony is still adding the PS3 copy of the game to their PlayStation listing, while Xbox 360 version is available for pre-order at GameStop.
Rumor has it that the “Mortal Kombat X” release for PS3 and Xbox 360, will happen by the end of 2015. Nevertheless, there is no official information about the release as of now.
