After meeting the alleged rape victim at a Buffalo bar a week ago, Chicago Blackhawk star Patrick Kane reportedly invited her and a friend to his lakefront house in suburban Hamburg.

She then entered a room and Kane followed her. The athlete allegedly overpowered the victim and sexually assaulted her, reports The Buffalo News. Among the physical evidence of the alleged rape are shoulder bite marks and leg scratches.

After the incident, the victim and her friend left Kane's house, called a relative and went to a local hospital where a rape kit was used. No charges, so far, has been charged Kane.

Kane's representative, Paul Cambria, said a lot of the reports about the alleged rape are wrong and statements are not accurate. Cambria stresses, "These things are being said as if they are facts. I am not going to participate in that stuff. When the time comes, I will respond to thing, but I am not going to participate at this time in this whole media thing that is going on," quotes USA Today.

Cambria is the same lawyer who represented Kane in a 2009 assault charge against a cab driver, Associated Press reports. Kane then filed a "not guilty" plea to the non-criminal charge of disorderly conduct stemming from the altercation.

He is also the lawyer of other high-profile clients such as publisher Larry Flynt, rapper DMX and rocker Marilyn Manson. Cambria is known in the legal profession for winning cases for individual and business clients in high-profile case at all court levels all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, reports CBS.

Likely due to the reports, Kane did not show up for the Stanley Cup on Saturday in Buffalo. He instead spent the day with his family and about four dozen people. But Kane cancelled two scheduled events at a local children's hospital and a local rooftop bar. He likewise did not share photos at the private events that usually are posted on the Twitter account of Hockey Hall of Fame that uses the handle @KeeperoftheCup.
