JaVale McGee is still available in the market and NBA rumors suggest that Los Angeles and Dallas Maverick are looking at having him. Meanwhile, Indiana Pacers are interested in having Toney Douglas on the roster.
McGee is one of the most wanted players because of his massive frame. At 7'0" many teams would love to have his services. According to Kennedy, he is focussing on getting healthy.
"Sources close to JaVale McGee say he's focused on getting healthy. Several teams have shown interest. Mavs, Lakers seem like frontrunners," Basketball Insiders' Alex Kennedy tweeted.
Bleacher Report noted that Los Angeles Lakers has Roy Hibbert but with McGee that can add more power. Meanwhile, Dallas Mavericks are looking for a good player as well.
Elsewhere, Toney Douglas is set to make a deal with Indiana Pacers. The team has new players like Jordan Hill and Myles Turner and they are appearing as a different unit this time.
According to Jeff Zillgutt of USA Today, Douglas is set to sign a deal with Indiana Pacers.
"Recently waived by the Pelicans, guard Toney Douglas will sign a deal with the Pacers, I've been told. Already there working out," Zillgitt tweeted.
However, Bleacher Report noted that it is doubtful if Douglas will be a part of the final list as there are already 15 players who are under contract.
Douglas has an impressive record despite playing not more than 27 games and he had at 11.26 player efficiency rating in 2013.
