A new video has surfaced that shows a comparison between the displays of the iPhone 6 and the upcoming iPhone 6S.
A reselling company of Apple products like iPhones and iPads, Mac Maniack has released a new video that compares the display of the forthcoming iPhone 6S with that of the iPhone 6, Mac Rumors reported. Both the displays appear very identical in appearance and dimensions.
Even the placement of front-facing camera and proximity sensor has remained unchanged. However, there is slight difference in the front panels of both the models.
On the top-left corner of the iPhone 6S's display panel, there is a new connector that is rumored to connect to Force Touch hardware. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor has been integrated with the LCD screen and digitizer connector.
The video also reveals that the display panel of the iPhone 6S is thicker than that of iPhone 6. Rumors have it that the thickness of the iPhone 6S will be 7.1 mm. The iPhone 6 that came out in 2014 measures 6.9 mm in thickness
Speculations are rife that since the chassis of the iPhone 6S will be built with tougher Series 7000 aluminum alloy, it will not encounter bending issue. Fresh reports reveal that the weaker portions on the back panel such as the area around the volume controllers of the iPhone 6S has been toughened, Phone Arena reported.
The iPhone 6S is slated to get announced in September. It will be housing the Apple A9 chipset, 2 GB RAM and faster LTE chip. The iPhone 6S Plus is also expected to get unleashed alongside the iPhone 6S.
