Rockstar at Gamescom

The highly anticipated GTA V DLC (downloadable content) may have been revealed at Gamescom-but there's also a possibility that it's Rockstar's new title.

It was reported that Rockstar had an exclusive presentation at the recently concluded Gamescom. The subject of the presentation is kept airtight, but there are speculations that it could be the coveted GTA V DLC.

According to GTA Cheats, the largest European Game Convention has sections open for the media and the general public who were lucky enough to get an invite, and there are also exclusive sections where game developers can hold presentations for a select audience.

Common practice for game developers is to show games in the early development stage to a trusted and influential audience. These presentations can affect the decision-making and the overall direction of the project.

It is reported that Rockstar held one of these presentations during Gamescom. Eventually, a photo was tweeted that said "Just so other YouTubers know. This is real at gamescom but it's in the business area. Not the public viewing area."

The "Business area" is the exclusive area, so there are no leaks at the moment. But speculation ranges from the GTA V DLC story, or the rumored third game of the Red Dead franchise.

There is also another angle. "Well, recently the company has renewed their trademark on AGENT, a game that was announced in 2009 as a PS3 exclusive," GTA Cheats says. "The game was described as a stealth game set during the cold war, and would have (will?) had a espionage theme."

We could have Rockstar's version of James Bond being developed behind that door. As of this writing, any further clues on the presentation is still under wraps.
