"Dance Moms" may have been renewed for season 6 but both Abby Lee Miller and Maddie Ziegler are hesitant to be a part of the Lifetime series. With the latter's promising acting and modeling career, sources claimed that Ziegler is having second thoughts of competing for ALDC.

In the latest promo video for the season 5 finale, Miller hinted that she will be leaving "Dance Moms" for good. The ALDC coach explained that that it was always best to leave while one is ahead. She added that although her journey with the series is coming to an end, she is also getting ready for a new adventure coming her way.

In a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, the ALDC coach candidly said that the network is behind on their payments She admitted that she has not always been in good terms with the show's producer and even the network. Miller explained that before they ask her about returning for season 6, they should first settle the delayed salaries of the cast members.

Viewers noticed that Miller has not always been visible in the last season. The reality star explained that the producers "kicked her out" in some of the episodes, saying that she was drawing too much attention and drama to herself. Miller has always been known to pit the dancers against each other, in an attempt to reveal their full potential.

The moms, however, felt that Miller's competitiveness only put unnecessary pressure to the girls. Sources also claimed that Ziegler had enough of the drama surrounding the ALDC and wanted to pursue other opportunities.
