iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be launched in September at a special Apple event packed with a lot of high end features and specs.
According to Forbes, a new access panel may be introduced in Apple iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus that will display the menu. This feature is also a prerequisite for Force Touch technology integration. The Force Touch technology will be used to enhance the user experience of pressure sensitivity. This feature is only seen in the Apple Watch till now.
In addition, different flex connectors are also rumored to be integrated into Apple iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. These devices are expected to have the Touch ID security feature embedded in the LCD and digitized connectors. This will also act as an upgraded version of the fingerprint scanner.
The screen of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus may also be protected with an additional protective plate. It is also rumored that Apple will be adding an additional 0.2 mm to iPhone 6S, making it one of the two Apple devices to sport a thicker surface.
iPhone 6 was under fire due to the issue of "bend gate," forcing customers to request a replacement of the device last year. Apparently, this extra thickness is required to house the force touch technology.
The current Apple iPhone models come with in gold, silver, and space gray colors. It is rumored that Apple will introduce rose gold and pink color this year.
However, the only disappointment in the upcoming Apple iPhone 6S is that it may have only 1 GB of RAM like its predecessor, according to BGR.
