"Whip My Hair" hit maker Willow Smith, the daughter of "Independence Day" star Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, has released an edgy new video, titled "Wit A Indigo," on Aug. 15, Saturday.

"Gettin' all up in my face like-like that, you don't wanna mess with an indigo like that," sings the teenager in the colorful, multi-hued 3-minute video. Apart from the 14-year-old, the psychedelic-like clip also features DIASPORA members and her friends, including Crystal Mec and Tru along with rapper Tyler Cole, MTV reported.

The newly released video appears to be a diss by Willow, who, along with her brother Jaden Smith, is known for her edgy personality and unconventional lifestyle and thus fits perfectly in the category of Indigo Children, a concept which was coined back in 1990s by author Lee Caroll and Jan Tober to describe children who supposedly possess special traits or abilities, sometimes even supernatural skills, Pedestrian reported.

While Willow was busy with the impending release of her new track, her teenage brother is said to be prepping up to step in his dad's shoes by playing the role of "The Fresh Prince" in the newly announced reboot of 1990s hit sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." The series, that had a successful run of six years, is said to be a milestone in the career of Will, who was until then was popular for being just a rapper.

The "Hitch" actor's entertainment company, Overbrook Entertainment, is reportedly working on the early stages of the reboot of the classic sitcom. The reboot is expected to be of the present age and is not likely to star Will as an actor.
