MLS squad Seattle Sounders will host Honduran club CD Olimpia at their CenturyLink Field in Seattle on August 19 as the 2015-2016 CONCACAF Champions League group eliminations resume.
This would be the second game of the tourney for the Sounders, who overpowered fellow MLS team Orlando City FC at CenturyLink Field on Sunday, 4-0.
Nigerian forward Obafemi Martins scored a double while Paraguayan forward Nelson Valdez and Brazilian midfielder Thomás provided a goal each to pull off the rout, as reported by the MLS official website.
Meanwhile, Los Leones is coming off a three-game winless streak with their last triumph dating back on May 21 at the Liga Nacional de Honduras versus CD Motagua, via Soccerway.
Olimpia's most recent game was also in the same league and against Motagua once more, but this time Héctor Vargas' team suffered a 1-2 setback at their own home turf of Estadio Tiburcio Carias Andino in Tegucigalpa on Thursday last week.
This match will be Olimpia's opener in this year's CCL tournament.
The prediction is a 3-0 spanking by the Sounders over the Lions. Clint Dempsey is still out because of his hamstring injury, but Sigi Schmid's squad is stronger on paper even if they are not in full strength.
