Marvel's highly anticipated "Spider-Man" reboot may not turn out to be better than Andrew Garfield's version of "Spider-Man." Here are the reasons:

1. Not an original story

Peter Parker's origin appeared both in the 2002 and 2012. It is likely that Marvel will want to repeat the same story in the reboot, which will not be effective.

2. Previous Flaws

Sony has learned from past mistakes especially putting too many villains in a single film like the case of "Spider-Man 3" and the "Amazing Spider-Man 2."

3. Marvel/Sony Deal

Marvel and Sony have entered an agreement to make "Spider-Man" in the same category as the "Guardians of the Galaxy" and the "Avengers," which will open many opportunities for this web slinger, Movie Pilot reported.

With Marvel's presence already official for "Captain America's: Civil War," his solo movie should turn out as epic as any other. Similarly, the existence of Shield and Nick Fury implies that the reboot has much work to make it the best "Spider-Man" film yet.

4. Absence of a new villain

Fans have already experienced Electro, Hobgoblin, Venom, Doctor Octopus, 2 Green Goblins, Rhino, Sandman, and the Lizard. With a variety of villains available for "Spider-Man, the movie can rely on any one of them such as Shocker, Kraven, and Carnage.

On the other hand, Garfield's version of "Spider-Man" may not have been that bad although it was a flop. His focus on the eponymous hero was a fantastic move. According to MTV, although Garfield's portrayal of Parker was a bit too cool for school, his depiction of Spider-Man was interesting.

Apart from unveiling the protagonist's heart and humor, Garfield considered the part, particular in comparison to the current "Ultimate Marvel Universe" version. Precisely, Garfield's Spider-Man had the moves, invented his own web-shooters, he was a tech-savvy, and could multitask.
