"Switched at Birth" season 4 will return on Aug. 24, Monday on ABC. It has been revealed that in episode 11 "To Repel Ghosts," Daphne (Katie Leclerc) tries to come to terms with speculation, Bay (Vanessa Marano) accepts the idea of heartbreak, and someone unveils an unanticipated pregnancy.
Although fans of the series wish that Emmett (Sean Berdy) and Bay settle their differences, actress Marano informed TV Guide that the relationship between the two characters is actually over.
Marano believes that Bay as a character is distressed and totally messed up to the extent that she may end up losing it. Her devastation will make the series interesting for fans. The couple is emotionally down, but the most interesting part is when she survives on coffee and potato chips.
Previously, Marano empathized with their fans asserting that they would experience heartbreak. She also perceived the problems that Bay went through as being unfair.
Talking to Zap2it, she said, "The breakup was rough. It was really rough. It was unfair and she's upset about it. She's a freaking mess. The Bay and Emmett fans are going to be heartbroken, but not disappointed."
Marano also said that Bay will be mourning in the premiere episode of the fourth season because of her relationship that has undergone destruction. According to her judgment, Bay will be a mess in the first episode and eventually focus on trying to get her life back by doing things for herself.
Amid the breakup, fans should expect much from the aspiring movie director, Emmett. The only difference is that in this season there will be no interaction between Emmett and Bay until the season gets midway.
