It seemed that "The Terminator" did not make the final cut as guest star.

Mortal Kombat is very popular in casting guest stars in its franchise. In the current year alone, gamers saw the Predator and Jason Voorhees joining the characters' list and fighting in the game.

They definitely added a lot of star power to the game play of "Mortal Kombat X." The franchise editor, Ed Boon recently confirmed in a tweet on Twitter that they were considering casting "The Terminator" as a star guest. However, the thought never became fruitful and they casted "The Terminator" in the WWE 2016 instead.

"WWE 2016" will be released on Oct. 27. Gamers can enjoy "The Terminator's" famous character in this game for the time being. "WWE 2016" is the joint effort of Paramount Pictures and WWE. It is rumored that "The Terminator's" character in this game will not be his usual brutal self. However, further information is still awaited.

The character of "The Terminator," based on the charismatic Arnold Schwarzenegger, could easily the lift the entire game. Ed Boon did not provide any further information about casting "The Terminator" in the game, but he did mention that the T-800 was a nice option to be added to the Horror Pack. This is the same pack which also included Jason Vorhees from "Friday the 13th" horror movie. Jason played the slasher in the movie, who killed all the campers.

"Mortal Kombat X" is currently available for Play Station 4, Xbox One, and PC. A last generation version of this game is also being planned for Play Station 3 and Xbox 360. There is also a possibility of a mobile version of the game for the iOS and Android devices.

Boon also tweeted that the second DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" will come soon.
