Microsoft's upcoming Surface Phone, codenamed Project Juggernaut Alpha, is said to possess the powers of a PC.

Microsoft is working on a new phablet called Surface Mobile. Its purported specs reveal that it is a very tough competitor for the Huawei variant of the Google Nexus 2015 smartphone.

Rumors indicate that the Lumia 940 and the Lumia 940 XL are flagship smartphones but do not have the premium appeal of an advanced smartphone. Hence, Microsoft is readying a true flagship smartphone that is called Surface Mobile that carries the Juggernaut Alpha codename.

The Microsoft Surface Mobile is expected to arrive in two RAM variants and is expected to release at the beginning of 2016, WM Power User reported. The Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) is slated to release in October 2015. It is expected to hog all the limelight until the end of this year.

However, will Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) be able to survive the onslaught from the powerful Surface Mobile? Here are some of the features of the Surface Mobile that will be unavailable on Huawei Nexus 6 (2015):

Surface Pen

The Surface Pen stylus will accompany the Surface Mobile handset. However, the next generation Nexus 6 will not be featuring a stylus.

MicroSD Slot

The Surface Mobile will be able to support up to 256 GB of microSD, Phone Arena reported. The Nexus 6 from 2014 did not feature microSD slot and its successor model, the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) will also be lacking it.

Continuum

Continuum is the Windows 10 Mobile exclusive feature that is still not available on Android M. It allows users to convert the Surface Mobile into a desktop computer by hooking up a larger display, a mouse and a keyboard through a docking station.
