Three episodes of "Empire" season 2 will feature "Sons of Anarchy" star Mo McCrae set to romance Becky.

According to Variety, McCrae who will play J-Poppa is tolerant and attractive for Becky (Gabourey Sidibe). Given that J-Poppa will appear in three episodes only in season 2, there is no assurance for fans that there will be romance between him and Becky, unless the two characters stick together, but keep reappearing occasionally.

Fans will reportedly experience some level of romantic storyline for the character of Becky, Cartermatt reported. Becky is someone who does shift a bit in the background based on the stories involving Lucious, Jamal, Cookie, and other characters in the previous installment of "Empire."

It will not be surprising for McCrae to appear during the show that premieres on Sept. 23, although there is likelihood for some changes in the near future. Judging from the past series, it is clear that "Empire" normally casts familiar guest stars, especially for important roles.

McCrae has initially worked with director Lee Daniels when he featured in "The Butler" in 2013, and therefore, it will not be difficult for the guest star to fit in the three episodes of "Empire" under the directorship of Daniels.

The "Sons of Anarchy" alumni will not be the only guest star in "Empire" season 2. Recently, Director Daniels appeared at Carey's Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity ceremony and teased that Mariah Carey, the five-time Grammy Award-winning singer, will feature in "Empire" season 2.

Just like McCrae, Carey's appearance in "Empire" will be a second-time involvement with Daniels after the two collaborated during the Daniels' Oscar-winning movie, "Precious."
