| Aug 26, 2015 08:19 PM EDT

Former "The View" host Rosie O'Donnell is a mother of five.

The drama between Chelsea and Rosie O'Donnell continues as reports said that the teenager, who was reported missing last week and found in the house of a drug dealer, has decided to live instead with her biological mother.

Chelsea was 17 when Rosie reported that her adopted daughter was missing. A representative of Rosie said that Chelsea made the decision to move to her birth mother's house when she turned 18, reports Fox.

Besides Chelsea, Rosie has two more adopted children, a biological child with former wife Kelli Carpenter and on more adopted daughter with another ex, Michelle Rounds. The actress's representative, commenting on Chelsea's move, was quoted as saying, "This was her choice."

TMZ names Deanna as Chelsea's birth mother. She gave up Chelsea for adoption in 1997 when she was 20. Deanna drove almost 1,000 miles to New York from Wisconsin to pick up Chelsea who turned 18 on Monday.

Rosie reportedly advised Chelsea not to go with Deanna, but the teen decided to leave Rosie who cut of financial aid to her adopted daughter. The actress also did not turn over Chelsea's birth certificate and social security card, indicating a bitter parting of ways between the two. Chelsea's leaving Rosie before she turned 18 indicates domestic trouble already brewing between the two women.

It is not just Chelsea whom Rosie lost. A day before the teen left their home for the first time, 81-year-old Edward O'Donnell - Rosie's father - died of cancer, reports Daily Mail. Chelsea did not disclose her reason for leaving Rosie permanently.

Steven Sheerer, the 25-year-old man who took Chelsea in his home when she left Rosie's house in South Nyack, New York, is facing child endangerment and distribution of obscenity to a minor charges. He could be jailed up to 10 years if convicted of those charges. But it seems it's not only Chelsea who has left home, even Steven is reportedly missing now.
