Henry Cavill will play the Man of Steel in Zack Snyder’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Superman has been reported to be the Hulk of the DC Cinematic Universe.

According to Cinema Blend, the Man of Steel is consigned to be part of team ventures, following an appearance in one film. After his stand in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel," fans desire to see Superman in a "Man of Steel" sequel. The said sequel is viewed to maintain the parallelism between the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight.

While previous reports have unveiled George Miller as the director for a "Man of Steel" sequel, new reports said that the sequel is unsure at the moment. Previously, sources told Den of Geek that the "Happy Feet" Miller met with Warner Bros. about helming a DC film in the future; however, some sources also told the publication that the said project is on "permanent hold."

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios has not announced a "Hulk" project in the future line-up of its Cinematic Universe. While fans speculate the Green Giant to appear in a "Planet Hulk" movie, such possibilities are yet to be confirmed by the studio.

At the moment, Superman will be seen in Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The film serves as foundation to DC's upcoming "Justice League" film and stars Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, along with Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher, and Amy Adams, among others.

Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to premiere in theaters in United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
