LG-Google Nexus 5 2015 leak

Google has reportedly scheduled a big event on September 29 - the day set for the release date of the LG Nexus 5 2015. What will happen exactly is the vanilla Android flagship will start appearing on virtual shelves, suggesting a Google Play Store debut, a new report said.

The latest rumor from South Korea also indicates that September 29 is somewhat historic for both Google and LG. On the same date, the first LG Nexus 5 was unboxed and it appears that two firms are trying to repeat history by rolling out the 2015 version exactly two years after, G4Games said in a report.

Pointing to the same source that provided key specs of the Nexus 5 2015, the report recalled that the device is expected to be a 5.2-inch handset, its screen fired up by Quad HD technology in 2560 x 1440 display resolution. Under the hood, the main engine is a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip that gets ample support from 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

The second coming of the Nexus 5 will also boast of a superlative camera combo - 13MP on rear with optical image stabilization as one of the camera hardware bumps and 5MP front-facing shooter, suggesting that the next Nexus is an A1 selfie tool.

Also on or before September 29, Google is set to release its replacement for Lollipop, which was recently revealed as Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is unclear though if Marshmallow will be issued ahead of the Nexus 2015 or the OS will be simultaneously unboxed with the device.

Regardless, the new operating system is bringing forward fresh capabilities that the LG Nexus 5 2015 will first showcase. Among the highlights is the introduction of a powerful app tool that Google named Doze, which is a power management application that aims to significantly reduce battery usage for longer operating hours.

Android M will also natively support fingerprint scanner that Google will pair with Android Pay. USB Type-C connectivity will be part of the package too, indicating that the upcoming pure Android phone is all set for quick recharging and superfast date transfer and sharing.

As the case since rumors on the Nexus 2015 release date started circulating, Google remains silent on the matter.
