With PAX Prime already on high gear, developer Telltale Games is finally bringing more information on its upcoming "Minecraft: Story Mode." The developer has revealed that its "Minecraft" title will be the first game from the studio that will enable players to choose character appearance.
"Minecraft: Story Mode" will feature several options so that players can easily choose to make protagonist Jesse either male or female, Telltale Games announced via its official blog. Some new screenshots featured in the blog update showed the two versions of the hero as male and female. Some of the screenshots also feature different skin tone for the characters.
The game will also have different casts for either version of Jesse. Patton Oswalt will be the male Jesse, while Catherine Taber will play the role of the female Jesse. Other cast names that have been revealed include Brian Posehn, Scott Porter, Martha Plimpton, Corey Feldman, Billy West, Ashley Johnson, Paul Reubens and Dave Fennoy.
"Minecraft: Story Mode" will be launching on the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC and Mac. Mobile gamers will also be happy to note that Telltale Games is also releasing it on both iOS and Android devices.
In other "Minecraft" news, those who are playing the base game on the PS4 are in for some "Star Wars" treat. Developer Mojang has also announced that it will be releasing two "Star Wars" skin packs, PlayStation Blog reported.
What this brings are more than 70 skins for "Minecraft PS4 Edition" and the "Minecraft PS3 Edition." The first pack is the Classic Skin Pack, which shows off Luke Skywalker in seven different versions, Leia and Chewbacca. Other characters joining them include Admiral Ackbar, Greedo and a Wampa.
"Minecraft" PlayStation editions will also get the "Star Wars" Rebels pack, so that players can take on the role of Ezra Bridger, Chopper and Hera Syndulla. This pack will also bring some of Ghost's crew.
