The anticipated iPhone 6S to be released in September will be 7.1mm thick

A recent leak states that the battery life of iPhone 6S may not be very good.

According to cnBeta, the battery life of iPhone 6S is actually lower than its predecessors. Currently, the iPhone 6 sports a 1,810 mAh battery capacity, but the iPhone 6S is expected to sport 1,715 mAh of battery capacity. On the other hand, the iPhone 6 Plus currently sports 2,910 mAh battery capacity, but the iPhone 6S Plus is expected to be only equipped with 2,750 mAh of battery capacity.

Even if the difference in the capacities between the old and the upcoming models is not much, it is definitely lesser than the previous one. It was earlier rumored that Cupertino-based company is working on a bigger battery for iPhone 6S.

Ironically, Apple also announced recently that these new models will be equipped with iOS 9, which will enhance the phone's overall performance and battery life.

In addition, a British tech company recently gave a demo for a new disposable Hydrogen battery in iPhone 6. This not only enhanced the performance of phone, it also kept its charge for a longer period of time, in comparison with the current battery used in iPhone 6.

iPhone 6S is expected to be equipped with much more RAM, and also a much better camera. It may be powered with the Apple A9 processor. iPhone 6S may also sport the single chip technology and the Force Touch technology as well.

According to BGR, iPhone 6S price is expected to be $649 onwards and the iPhone 6S Plus price is expected to be $749 onwards.
