'Mortal Kombat X' DLC News: Nightwolf, Baraka, Sindel, Spawn For 'Kombat Pack 2'; 'Klassic' Stages Added!

Mortal Kombat X is the tenth title in the Mortal Kombat game series developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive.

Good news gaming fans, the rumored Kombat Pack 2 for "Mortal Kombat X" will likely happened soon along with new characters and returning "Klassic" Mortal Kombat stages.

"Mortal Kombat" creator Ed Boom has dropped a huge announcement for "Mortal Kombat X" as he tweeted that the long rumored Kombat Pack 2 will happen this week. The Kombat Pack 2 will contain four playable characters similar to the first very first Kombat Pack in "Mortal Kombat X".

A huge list of characters have been long rumored to for the Kombat Pack 2 which include Baraka, Sindel, Rain, Kabal, Bo'Rai Choi, Fujin, Cyrax, Sektor, and Smoke, as well as guest fighters like Spawn, Terminator, Ghost Face, Michael Meyers, and Alien.

The first Kombat Pack DLC became a huge success in "Mortal Kombat X" as players were allowed to play other "MK" characters such as Tanya and Tremor and guest characters like Jason Voorhees of "Friday the 13th" and the Predator from "Predator" film franchise

The Kombat Pack 1 DLC also revealed new alternate costumes from several characters such as Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax etc. and added classic fatalities like Scorpion's "Toasty" and Sub-Zero's "Spine Rip".

Boon hinted that Native American shaman Nightwolf might be the first character being introduced in the Kombat Pack 2, Gamerant reported.

Aside from the four playable characters, NetherRealm Studios will likely add "Klassic" Mortal Kombat stages for the Kombat Pack 2 as the fan favorite "Pit" stage from the early "Mortal Kombat" games is one the first choices for the new DLC, Design&Trend reported.

Gamers might also see other famous stages added in "Mortal Kombat X" soon such as the "Living Forest", "Courtyard" and "Subway" just to name a few.

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios announced before that a huge patch fix for "Mortal Kombat X" this week for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, as well as the unfortunate cancellation of "MKX" for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

"Mortal Kombat X" is currently available in stores worldwide for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
