Directed, designed, co-produced and co-written by Hideo Kojima, "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is an open world action-adventure stealth video game developed by Kojima Productions.

Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain has been one of the most awaited PC games for Metal Gear fans, and at last the game has been launched a couple of days ago.

But for people who have played the prologue to the game, that is Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, there will be a number of differences and vast improvements that make the successor a ground-breaking sequel.

Minimum Specifications 

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit or Windows 8 64-bit) (64-bit OS Required)
  • Processor: Core i5-4460 (3.40GHz) or better; Quad-core or better 
  • Memory: 4GB RAM or above
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 650 or above
  • DirectX: Version 11 or above

Recommended Specifications

  • Memory: 8GB RAM or above
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 760 or above

Compared to the sequel, the newest installement to the Metal Gear franchise gets much improved graphics, better lighting effects, ambient occlusion, improved depth of field effects, realistic shadows, character model, and texture filtering.

Meanwhile, an online post revealed that Metal Gear's Hideo Kojima will be appearing in a cameo role in the game, Game Spot reported.

The character is a soldier in Mother Base, an operations hub for soldiers who have been captured in-game. These 'captives' can be chosen, and they will be assigned different tasks based on their specialization. In the report, Kojima has an S-rank on Intel, as well as an A-rank on Research and Development.
