HTC posted a live image on its local Twitter account in China, hinting the impending launch of a 'handsome' smartphone.

The unknown HTC device is said to be officially announced on Sunday, Sept. 6, during the start of the IFA 2015 event in Berlin.

While there are no exact details about the device's model or brand name, Phone Arena reported that it could be the rumored HTC Aero, that has been making the rounds in the rumor mill online.

Some of the alleged specs of the upcoming HTC device include a Helio X20 processor that runs on 10 cores, 4GB of RAM, a much better rear camera that can support RAM photography, and either a QHD (2560 x 1440) or a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution display.

A few weeks ago, HTC CEO Cher Wang revealed that the Taiwanese manufacturer is preparing to launch a 'hero phone' in October, and it could be the mysterious HTC handset, whose alleged images have been leaked.

In addition to the unknown HTC smartphone, another highlight of this year's IFA 2015 is the presence of Android Wear-powered wearables.

Some of the anticipated devices include the Gear S2 from Samsung, Asus' Zenwatch 2, the Huawei Watch, the next-gen Moto 360 from Motorola, and probably a wearable device from Sony and LG.

This year's IFA will be without a major smartphone model, the Galaxy Note 5, together with the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus from Samsung, after the Korean manufacturer made the announcement a month earlier.
