Kalani Hilliker may have just supported Maddie Ziegler's claim that that "Dance Moms" is a nothing but a fake and scripted reality show. Kira Girard's daughter, however, admitted that she still wanted to return to the Lifetime show come season 6.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Hilliker revealed that a specific scene in the season 5 finale was staged in order to boost the show's ratings. In the episode, fans saw Abby Lee Miller force the girls to walk out in the middle of the awards ceremony when she found out that none of them placed first.

Hilliker, however, explained that they did not walk out because of the results. She shared that a representative told her that she won first place in the duo/trio category, which they found strange given that she did not even compete.

"We thought it was unprofessional so we decided to walk out," she added.

The outlet speculated that the Lifetime executives thought that it would create more drama if the viewers were to be believed that Miller orchestrated the walk out.

In spite of all the criticism surrounding the show, Hilliker said that she still wanted to return to the show. Girard may have claimed that season 5 will be the last time the fans see them, but the dancer remained positive that she will be back in the premiere.

In an interview with USA Today, Ziegler admitted that the moms would sometime stage fights just to boost the ratings. She explained that the producers would sometime set them up so they would turn on one another. The dancer admitted that the constant bickering and fighting often took a toll on their relationships.
