‘Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’ September DLC Brings 12 Quests, Palico Armor As Capcom Announces Details For ‘Monster Hunter Stories’

"Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" is getting another free DLC for September, which features new quests and items.

The newest DLC to debut for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" will deliver new quests, armor and guild card titles. The September 2015 DLC is already out, with the prize of a Pep Squad Palico equipment set waiting for players who get to complete the quest.

This DLC is another free full pack, and those who want to play online gear up with some of their best to face off against some big bad monsters. Developer Capcom has detailed the full list of content for the DLC pack via its official blog.

Twelve new quests with three new arena challenges are coming. Players can also equip themselves with a new weapon, a new GX Tempest/GX Welkin armor set, a bonus Green Pal Palico, a Guild Card background and six more Guild Card titles.

The September "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" DLC is already accessible via DLC menu once players connect their Nintendo 3DS devices to the Internet. To access the Quests, players need to go to the Event Quests and Challenge Quests in the Gathering Hall. Those who want to go through the G-Rank quests should head to the Elder Hall, while the G-Rank Challenge Quests are in the Assembly.

Capcom has also promised that there are still a couple more DLCs coming, with something more brewing for Oct. 2, so best to get started on clearing the quests for the new DLC. The trailer for what's to come with the September DLC for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" can be seen below.

In the meantime, fans who want more "Monster Hunter" can get their fix as Capcom opens the official "Monster Hunter Stories" website. "Monster Hunter Stories" will be the next title in the franchise, and it appears that this will be a turn-based RPG, Gematsu reported.

According to the translated file from the website, the main hero can be a girl or a boy who wants to travel the world outside Rider village as a Rider. The protagonist will have a partner named Nabiru, a cat-like companion and a senpai Rider who will act as a guide to the hero.

All of the battles will be turn-based mixed with strategies when battling monsters. Players can change their attacks based on the weapon that they are using. The developer has also revealed that during battles, the players can partner up with monsters from the hero's party. The ability to change monster-partner while in battle is also possible.
