"WWE 2K" game series developer 2K added 21 more fighters in this year's "WWE 2K16" roster.
The additional fighters feature both superstar veterans and newer faces, as befitting of the new thrust of "WWE 2K16," DualShockers reported. Among the big names include Andre the Giant, Batista, The Rock, The Undertaker, Fandango and "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
Rounding up the names of the wrestlers include Aiden English, Chris Jericho, Curtis Axel, Edge, Erick Rowan, John "Bradshaw" Layfield, Luke Harper, R-Truth, Stephanie McMahon, Sergeant Slaughter, Santino Marella, Natalya, Simon Gotch, Ryback and Ravishing Rick Rude.
Currently, there are now 78 names in the roster, including the additional 21 wrestlers. However, this does not consider the playable characters that are available as preorders. This is the two versions of Terminator, played by Arnold Schwarzenneger. Fans can get both "The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" versions of his role as T-800.
In the meantime, "WWE 2K16" has also received a new trailer in the form of Brock Lesnar's entrance. It appears that this is the new entrance, which may be a source of disappointment to some fans, Gamingbolt reported. Some fans may have been expecting the classic entrance, which has always been known by fans.
The entrance clip can be seen below. This is not the only entrance trailer that has been released by 2K for "WWE 2K16." Previously, entrances from Kevin Owens, Kalisto, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor have been released. Finn Balor's entrance would probably the most theatrical of all, as he comes in complete with crawls, smoke and makeup.
"WWE 2K16" is slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. Following a string of not-so-stellar instalments of "WWE" games, 2K sees "WWE 2K16" as a potential comeback to glory for the franchise.
