"Orange is the New Black" season 4 will introduce new inmates and characters.
The Netflix series recently hold a casting call for possible inmates. The audition process was held in New York City. However, as of late, the names of those who have been cast have not yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile, "Orange is the New Black" season 4 has tapped actress Shannon Esper to appear on the show. Esper will play the role of Alana Dwight, an inmate who is characterized as meek and nice, according to Deadline.
As early as now, fans are already wondering what Alana might have done that brought her to prison. Other fans believe that Alana could be keeping a huge secret about her identity and this will be revealed sometime in season 4.
In other news, actor Michael Harney recently spoke with IBTimes about the future of his character Healy and his relationship with Red.
"I really enjoy the scenes I had with Red in season 3. So I'm hoping we have a chance to work together again. Artistically, that's very fulfilling for the both of us, I believe, so there's that. But I approach it like it's a blank canvass," he said.
Meanwhile, actress Uzo Aduba will have a new love interest in season 4. The actress' character, Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren, will finally be accepted and loved for who she is.
"Orange is the New Black" season 4 will also see the return of Laura Prepon's Alex, Taylor Schilling's Piper and Ruby Rose's Stella.
The series is slated to be released in June 2016.
