"Orange is the New Black" star Laura Prepon recently hinted on her character Alex's return in the upcoming fourth season of the hit Netflix series.
In an interview with TV Guide, Prepon said that fans would not see a timid Alex next season.
Meanwhile, the actress also hinted on Alex and Piper's (Taylor Schilling) relationship. According to Prepon, Alex and Piper will continue to lean on each other especially in times of difficulties. With this, fans could expect that regardless of who will come between them, Alex and Piper would choose to be with each other in season 4.
In other news, other "Orange is the New Black" cast members who are in danger of being axed include Matt McGorry, Ruby Rose and Natasha Lyonne. McGorry plays the role of John Bennett, while Rose plays the role of Stella and Lyonne plays the role of Nicky Nichols.
According to Screen Crush, all three characters appeared in the third season of "OITNB," but were later on transported to maximum security.
McGorry previously said that his character's fate is on the hands of the writers, while Lyonne revealed that Nicky could be back. As of late, there are no speculations about Rose being axed because the Australian actress helped boost the ratings of the Netflix series.
In fact, Rose became the most talked about cast member of "Orange is the New Black" last season. This is why fans are looking forward to her return as Stella.
"Orange is the New Black" season 4 will premiere on Netflix in June 2016.
