The first teaser trailer for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 has been streamed online as the video features director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Daisy Johnson/Quake (Chloe Bennet) and many more back on the field and doing what they do best, protect the world from any threat they encountered, Yahoo TV reported.

The teaser ends with the first live-action appearance of the new Inhuman villain, Lash (Matthew Willig).
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will focus on Coulson and Quake stopping new threats around the globe, while searching for other super powered beings that they a can protect and possibly recruit as new agents in a new team.
Marvel Studios hinted that Quake will lead a new S.H.I.E.L.D. task force comprised of super powered beings called "Secret Warriors". Mack, Lincoln and Mike Peterson/Deathlok (J. August Richards) are some of the hinted members, while characters such as Slingshot, Sebastian Druid and Stonewall are rumored to follow suit sometime within the show.
Two characters in show are absent during the teaser trailer, Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) and Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge). Simmons was caught and absorbed by the Kree Monolith at the end of the season 2 finale, which led to Fitz trying to rescue her by any means necessary. May on the other hand, had an extended vacation with her ex-husband, Andrew Garner (Blair Underwood) and it is unknown yet as to when she will back to the team.
Agent May's absents within the show has sparked several rumors that she will not be included in season 3. Aside from May, Bobbi Morse will also likely exit the series as ABC has confirmed a pilot episode for a new spin-off show, "Marvel's Most Wanted" starring her and Lance Hunter, Venture Capital Post reported.
S.H.I.EL.D. will not just deal with the increasing number of Inhumans, but also HYDRA's new leader Grant Ward (Brent Dalton) and a new government agency called "Advanced Threat Containment Unit".
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will premiere on Sept. 29 on ABC.
