'Halo 5' Update: New Cutscenes, Details Reveal The Game Beyond Master Chief; UFC Champion as New Character?

343 Industries' Josh Holmes introduces the "Halo 5: Guardians" video game during game publisher Microsoft's Xbox media briefing before the opening day of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

"Halo 5: Guardians" has been one of the most anticipated games of the year. However, the first-person shooting game plans to surprise the gamers with more intense twists.

For starters, 343 Industries just explained to the public the reason why there has been so much focus on the Spartan Locke. They said that it is not because they want to deviate the attention from Master Chief. Locke has become one of the key factors of the game because Master Chief is already a familiar icon for many. They would want to bring in new blood to the game.

According to Gaming Bolt, 343 Industries said that "Halo 5" has always been a place that will go beyond Master Chief. They added that the company is working very hard to make sure Locke is known by the users.

Meanwhile, the game developer also announced that, in partnership with Microsoft, they will be bringing in a new character in the face of reigning UFC Heavyweight Chamption Fabrioco Werdum. Unfortunately, Werdum will only have a cameo and will not have a mainstay in the game. So far, there are no announcements on whether they are planning to create a storyline for Werdum.

Werdum said he was very pleased with the company's decision to add him up in the game. Werdum said he is a big fan of the game.

According to The Revoluzionne, the users will find it hard to look for Werdum's character since they would need to thoroughly search the entire game before Werdum appears.

Users can start playing "Halo 5: Guardians" starting Oct. 27.
