Write your name in Korea is a campaign by the Korean Tourism Organization

A new global tourism campaign by the Korean Tourism Organization gives tourists the opportunity to have their names engraved on an actual road in Korea and get a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to the Kpop country.

Write Your Name in Korea, a project of the KTO, aims to attract tourists around the globe through their diverse and harmonious pleasures. From being a typical tourist destination, Korea became a haven of pop culture.

A total of 22,500 names will be written on the road. The campaign was inspired by Hollywood's tradition of writing the names of famous celebrities on the Walk of Fame. Like Hollywood, Korea is also known for its globally famous celebrities and internationally aired TV series. Korean dramas such as "Pinocchio" and "My Lovely Girl" were top-rating TV series in many Asian countries including China, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, and the Philippines.

Kpop idol Krystal, who is a part of the musical act f(x), is the face of the campaign. In the past, Kpop groups such as Girls Generation have served as tourism ambassadors for the country.

Interested parties may submit their names on the website Imagine Your Korea. From Aug. 20 to Sept. 30, a weekly winner is randomly selected. These persons will receive 2 round-trip flight tickets to Korea, accommodations for 2 nights in Seoul and 1 night in Changwon, and one day tour of Sang Sang Gil in Changwon. Winners must visit Korea by October 28.
