Android 6.0, also known as the Android Marshmallow, is set to be released on Sept. 29 in the Google's Nexus event in San Francisco.
Two new Nexus smartphones will be unveiled at the Sept. 29 event by Google, International Business Times reported. The two new Nexus phones are said to be made in partnership with LG and Huawei. The Nexus 5X also known as the Bullhead will be made by LG, while the Nexus 6 also known as the Angler will be made by Huawei. Both phones will be Google's newest smartphones, which will feature the new OS, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Nexus 5X and Nexus 6 devices will be the first smartphones to run with the Android Marshmallow. However, there is a chance that Google will also be releasing the OS update to the existing Nexus 5, 6, and 9.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow is said to cater a whole new set of features that Android users will definitely enjoy. The system will give the users more control over their phone's setting, privacy's and applications, Android Authority reported. It will have a USB Type - C support, a few more system improvements and feature Google's newest E-wallet, the Android pay. It will also give the users the power to label an appropriate MicroSD as their default storage and more slick and Quicker Settings tiles.
Nexus 5X and Nexus 6 devices will be a turning point to new generation smartphones. Not only will it feature new specifications and functions, but it will also set a standard for high- graded smartphones, which are sleek in design and affordable with high-end quality components.
