Tesla Model X Expected Release September 29: Experts Claim More Family-friendly Style

After so much anticipation, Tesla Model X is almost and finally here. Tesla chief executive officer, Elon Musk assured car enthusiasts that the company's first ever crossover utility vehicle, Tesla Model X, will thrill its lovers.

Musk tweeted the important details of "Model X," mentioning the price of the car and some other details. He said that with same options, Model X is $5k more than an S due to greater size & body complexity. That Sig Series is fully loaded, hence high price, the first produced cars will be handed over on Sept. 29 at the Fremont factory.

Musk also went ahead to clear the skepticism encircling Model Tesla X. Well, people have been endorsing rumors on something wrong happening within the development of the vehicle confirmed.

In the meantime, experts from various backgrounds, like those at Edmunds, have approved Tesla's Model X family-friendly body and general style. According to them, the style comes from its offer of true seven-passenger sitting. This is rooted to its third row of foldable forward-facing seats.

With Signature Series technology, Tesla Model X will feature autopilot for lane steering and self-parking. It will also offer Smart Air suspension equipped with cooled and heated leather seats and GPS memory. A single unit will initially sell at $132,000, Forbes confirmed.

Under the "Model X's" body will be a packed, 90 kilowatt-hour battery. Its performance will depend on an estimated top speed of 155 mph and an EPA range of 240 miles. Standard equipment such as built-in sensors will also be featured for Falcon Wing doors, parking sensors, free long distance travel, rear accessory hitch mount for ski carriers and bikes, automatic emergency parking and blind spot warnings.

Every Tesla Model X is expected to come with all-wheel drive standard which will be powered by two electric motors that will be independent and digitally controlled. The car's production begins on Sept. 29. Officials from the company say that Tesla Model X can currently be pre-ordered and is scheduled for delivery to customers in early 2016.
