"Fifty Shades Darker" could reportedly star "Allegiant" actor Theo James or "The Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder.
According to News Everyday, James and Somerhalder are both fit for the role of Jack Hyde. However, only one of them could take on the titular role.
Although it seems far-fetched that Universal Pictures and book author E.L. James will tap either James or Somerhalder, fans still cannot stop talking about the possibility.
For Somerhalder's fans, the actor should be given the role of Jack for very obvious reasons. Not only does Somerhalder physically mysterious, the actor has also portrayed the role of a mysterious vampire on The CW series.
Although "Fifty Shades Darker" character Jack is a human being, portraying him with as much mystery would not be that challenging for Somerhalder.
Meanwhile, according to Realty Today, James' fans believe that he is best fit for the role of Jack.
According to the publication, James exudes a kind of manly appeal that Jack should also possess for the big screen. The actor has also played the role of Four on the "Divergent" franchise, making him a well-experienced star.
As of late, there is still no news on who will play the role of Jack Hyde or Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) nemesis on "Fifty Shades Darker."
However, it seems that fans would not have to wait that long now that a director has already been tapped to helm the film.
"Fifty Shades Darker" will be released in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
