Although she did not directly said it, transgender woman Caitlyn Jenner hints of being afraid of being raped in prison.

The former Bruce Jenner told "Today" show host Matt Lauer on Wednesday that going to prison is a worst-case scenario for the reality star. Caitlyn could possibly face manslaughter charges if the LA district attorney files brings her to court for the death of a 69-year-old woman.

Caitlyn was involved in a car accident while driving along Pacific Coast Highway in February which caused the death of Kim Howe, a widow, who was driving a Lexus. A guilty verdict for misdemeanor manslaughter could mean one year prison term for the ex-Olympian.

However, despite her feminine appearance, Caitlyn still has a penis. Most prisons consider the genitals of a transgender convict. If the convict still has a penis, the transgender - despite female looks - is sent to a male penitentiary where rape via sodomy is common, even on straight and masculine victims.

Commenting on her worst fear, Caitlyn told Lauer, "It is an enormous problem that they put trans women in the men's county jail, but those are things we are looking into."

Caitlyn has expressed regret over the vehicular accident in Malibu which she says one just has to learn to live with the thought that someone died because of the incident. She points out that she was driving at 46 mph when the limit was 50 mph. "My airbag didn't go off. All I needed was probably a half of a second of time [to stop] ... I couldn't quite get [the vehicle] stopped," quotes The New York Post.

However, LA County sheriff officials insist that Caitlyn was driving her Cadillac Escalade at an unsafe speed when she hit the Lexus driven by Howe, reports LA Times.
