Miranda Lambert is no longer hurting from her recent divorce to Blake Shelton. The "Two Weeks" singer has reportedly moved on and ready for the next chapter in his life.
According to Daily Mail, Lambert and Shelton are both nominated in the Musical Event of the Year category at the 49th annual Country Music Association Awards (CMA). She was nominated for "Smokin' and Drinkin'" song with Little Big Town while Shelton with "Lonely Tonight," a duet with Ashley Monroe.
The publication pointed out that this is the only category that the former couple will go head on, given that "The Voice" judge only had a few nominations. Although he was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, Lambert was nominated in three more categeories: Female Vocalist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year and Music Video of the Year.
Rather than get stuck in the past, insiders claim that Lambert will use this time to focus on her career. Given that she already bested Shelton in the CMA nominations, the country singer allegedly thought that she was already winning the break up.
Lambert even went on a "celebratory shopping" after she found out that she had been nominated. She shared a photo on Instagram of a Tiffany box and Converse sneakers with the caption, "In honor of CMA nomination day I did a little celebratory shopping! My two favorite colors... Pink and Tiffany Blue."
In July, Lambert and Shelton announced that they are getting a divorce. The couple refused to reveal what caused the split and instead ask their fans for compassion and privacy.
