Quarterback Battle: Seahawks' Russell Wilson vs Rams' Nick Foles

Defending NFC champions Seattle Seahawks is set to visit the St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday for a week 1 NFL 2015 season game.

This match will feature "two of the best defensive lines" in the league, as per ESPN, and a low-scoring but action-packed match should be expected.

Russell Wilson is still the key to Seattle's offense and his new multi-million dollar contract will give him enough motivation to open the season with a bang even on the road.

Helping Wilson this year is new pass catcher Jimmy Graham. The tight end, together with a fourth-round pick, was acquired through a trade last March in exchange for center Max Unger and a first round pick.

The Rams will boast off a better and healthier quarterback this year in Nick Foles, who was swapped for injury-prone Sam Bradford in a deal with Philadelphia last March.

Bleacher Report noted that Foles has to play a great passing game in order for St. Louis to make a dent on the robust Seattle defense as the team's young backfield may not be ready yet at this point of the season.

Overall, the Seahawks still has the advantage and Wilson should carry them past the Rams in this one.

Prediction: Seahawks win, 14-10
