"The Ellen DeGeneres Show's" most recent episode showed Ellen DeGeneres getting confused by her guest Caitlyn Jenner's answer when asked about the issue of gay marriage. Jenner revealed that she does not agree on a hundred percent about gay unions.
Jenner was not in favor of gay marriages in the past, according to E! News. Though the transgender has clarified her stand through the show by stating her changed views and would not want to come in the way of other's happiness, DeGeneres was not convinced.
The host and comedian discussed with Howard Stern on the show "The Howard Stern Show" what she thinks about Jenner's statement.
"She has judgment the gay union. I said, 'you want the people to accept and understand you, but you still have your judgment regarding gay people and their marriage," Degeneres shared. "She goes, 'Well, if the word 'marriage' is really that important. So I was like, 'It is, because that is the word.' We want the same."
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" host explained how she will never join in with traditional dance part of the show because she is a lesbian and Jenner may not be comfortable to dance with a lesbian.
Despite what happened, "The Ellen DeGeneres" host said that she still finds the interview with Jenner a nice one. She wished the "I Am Cait" star all the best and said that she understands how they took different roads in their lives, which could be the reason for the different views and opinions.
The former Olympian previously called herself a traditionalist when asked about same-sex marriage, according to Billboard.
