iOS 9 Release Date And Things To Take Care Before Updating The Device
It is always advised to check your Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod before attempting to install the new iOS. Any new iOS requires a considerable amount of storage space for the download and installation of the update.
According to Cnet, you can uninstall apps that you have not been using. Also, you can delete the old videos and photos (it is advised to backup the photos and videos in some other device) to make space for the update.
It is also important to take proper backup of the device before you install iOS 9. There are two ways to backup - iTunes and iCloud.
You can start iTunes on your computer and connect the device using a USB cable. Select your device in iTunes and in the summary tab you have to select This Computer.
Apple has planned to release iOS 9 on Sept. 16, 2015 and it is the first official release. Earlier, a beta version of iOS 9 was made available.
For the update of your compatible Apple device, you need 1.8 GB space free for installing iOS 9.
