Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that there may be a new "Super Mario Galaxy 3" game in the pipeline.
In an interview with EuroGamer, Miyamoto said that the game may see fruition as the company's "hardware technology gets better and advances." He added that, "[A new Mario Galaxy] is always in discussion. But even with Mario 64 there was a lot of feedback about motion sickness with the 3D or maybe us making it too difficult."
He further said that this game may not get a release date before the launch of the Nintendo NX. He said that the discussion about "Super Mario Galaxy 3" is in progress at the moment. He also explained that he along with the director of Galaxy, Koizumi-san are working towards making the next Galaxy title a much more challenging one. He also said that they can work on one game at a time, and right now the main focus is on the Nintendo NX.
Miyamoto also explained that the Wii U is not very well equipped for a 3D title like the "Super Mario Galaxy" game, according to IGN. Hence, incorporating it with the game will be a hell of a task. This might also put them a little behind than the original schedule.
The "Star Fox Zero" is also scheduled to get a release date in November. It was further revealed that Nintendo is very close to completing the "Pikmin 4" game. It is however, not confirmed yet whether the game the will be launched for the Wii U or the NX console.
